Image marketing of saaremaa and ship and boat building in european lifestyle and ship and boat magazines
The aim of the Association of Estonian Boatyards, Saare Koostöökogu and the joint project Visit Saaremaa is to create an image of Saaremaa as an internationally known and acknowledged ship building area, and an high-quality, exclusive, marine, and natural tourist designation by using the media contact network of the ship building sector.
The project will last until spring 2019, and during this time, Saaremaa will be visited by at least 18 journalists from recreational craft building or tourism sector. Unlike earlier press visit projects, more personal approach will be used this time – 1 or 2 journalists will be visiting Estonia at a time in order to get their own story.
